  In all honesty, every time I have dealt with CCPD, it has been a positive interaction. They are very courteous and make sure to be as helpful as possible. People seem to forget that police officers are rarely on scene during whatever situation is going on and fail to realize that these selfless people do their best to rectify a bad situation that they weren't privy to . I would like to say thank you to all who are a part of the Cathedral City Police.

  Very scary! Here it's very easy to get a title even when the car is stolen or is still financing.

  I have to say I am so impressed with Officer Mark Novy and the rest of the Cat City PD! I have to relay this good news story because they really made my day. I reported my car stolen today at 6 AM today through Palm Springs PD because that is our direct city address. After we contacted them the PSPD put out an alert, which got picked up by CCPD. Turns out we did have LoJak on the car after all (I had forgotten) and CCPD found it! We got the call at 10:15 AM to tell us CCPD had found my car and to come along and pick it up. This was less than 5 hours later!. But wait - there is more. So I show up to get the car and the CCPD team is there processing the car (finger prints etc.). Well, there was a ton of stuff in the car that did not belong to me. I mean bags of tools, boxes of screws, a yoga mat, 3 pairs of shoes, leather jackets , and several bags of chips - the list goes on. Well wily Officer Novy did some super sleuthing and found the name of another theft victim who reported work tools taken from his truck - but had not yet filed a police report. Office Novy called this man and asked him to stop by our crime scene. Well half the stuff in the car belonged to him! He was a happy guy - didn't even have to file a police report! Well it cannot get better than that. Big shout out to Officer Novy and the CCPD! Thanks guys and ladies! I appreciate the work!

  The Cathedral City police assisted me on a matter today. They handled themselves and the situation masterfully. Every encounter I have had with the Cat City police I am amazed how pleasant, personable, helpful and friendly they all are. These guys/gals are the best, no attitude just nice regular people.
